Binance’s Margin Wallet is divided into two types, Isolated Margin and Cross Margin.
Isolated Margin, as the name suggests, means that each market position is separate, and the margin is also separate. For example, each user's BTCUSDT has an independent Isolated Margin Wallet, and ETHUSDT also has an independent Isolated Margin Wallet. Generally, the leverage that can be used for Isolated Margin is larger than that of Cross Margin, but depending on the market, markets with larger trading volume can usually reach 10 times leverage.
In the case of Cross Margin, all market spot leverages share margins and positions. If you use Cross Margin, you can achieve up to three times the leverage. The advantage is that the margin is shared and very flexible.
