Note: This article is a beginner's tutorial for warpcast and does not involve advanced techniques.

All of this tells us that the potential of the base chain backed by Coinbase is welcoming capital speculation. The current base chain is very likely to be like the sol chain in November 2023.

1. What are base chain, farcaster, warpcast, and degen?

The base chain is an Ethereum second-layer public chain, backed by the Coinbase exchange, similar to the bnb chain backed by the Binance exchange.

Farcaster is a social protocol. Warpcast uses Farcaster to build a social app. Chinese people call it Wanbo, which is a social app similar to Twitter. There are many apps built through Farcaster, such as Supercast, Yup, and Litecast.

Degen is a community token issued by a channel called Degen on Warpcast. It is now a meme coin. There are many application motivations to empower it, making Degen the circulating currency of the application.

2. How to register warpcast?

Prerequisites:

1. Email account: Google account, Outlook account or other email account. It is recommended to install a Gmail app on your phone, download CoinbaseWallet, and import commonly used wallets into CoinbaseWallet.

2. A foreign Apple ID, used to download Warpcast. If you don’t have one, it is recommended to buy one from Taobao

3. Bind an Apple account that can pay with foreign currency credit cards. Domestic Apple IDs can also be used.

4. Click the invitation link: https://t点me/biqrxnxi/65 and enter an email address

5. Open your mailbox, check the warpcast email in the inbox, and then click download on your phone. This download requires an Apple overseas ID, a Hong Kong ID is also acceptable.

6. After downloading the Warpcast app, switch the Apple Store ID back to the domestic Apple ID bound to the credit card, that is, use the domestic Apple ID to log in to the Apple Store

7. Then enter your email account and an email will be sent to your email account. Click on the confirmation button in the email and you will be redirected to the payment page for $5. After you pay $5, you will start to create your account.

8. Enter your username and password and write them down in the notebook. Then select the field you are interested in. Select eth, meme, or software.

9. Fill in your ID number, briefly introduce yourself, and register a warpcast account.

10. After registering Warpcast, first bind your Ethereum wallet in the settings. You can bind it on the computer or on the mobile phone. It is recommended to bind it on the web.

11. How to log in to warpcast on the web?

In Google Chrome or other web browsers, type in warpcast.com and click Sign In.

Scan the mobile photo album and you will be redirected to the Google page. Open the application on the Google page

, it will jump to the warpcast app on the phone, and I will swipe to the right to log in to the web version.

Please note that once you log out of the mobile phone, for example, if you log in to other accounts on your mobile phone, you will also be logged out of the web page.

3. Introduction to warpcast common functions and common terms

Similar to Douban groups or Tieba, there are channels with themes of common interests. One channel needs 2,500 warps a year, which costs about $25 a year.

Warps is the currency of warpcast, but it is not on the chain. You can understand it this way. Warps is similar to QQ coins in Tencent games.     • Degen's Phase 2 airdrops have been in progress for many seasons. The first season ended in February 2024, and the second season started after the first season ended. It is still in progress.

      • To obtain the reward quota, that is, to be eligible to give rewards to others, the following conditions must be met

4. How to play warpcast?

Post 3 pieces of content, that is, vote three times. It is recommended to post content in the corresponding channel, which is easier to be seen by others. Meaningless spamming will not be recommended by the algorithm.

3. There are many posts that can earn you rewards, but sometimes they also work, so you can use multiple accounts.

4. Some NFTs are minted on Zora, and many of them are very cheap. Don’t be reluctant to spend gas. Register several Warpcast accounts, and then use more ETH or Degen on the base chain to mint NFTs. In the future, it is possible to get airdrops from the base chain, Zora, and Farcaster at the same time (although the official said that the base chain and Farcaster will not issue coins).

5. Post more often, use broadcasting to publish content in corresponding channels, and interact more with people in the group (those who understand will understand).

6. Currently, the pre-sale mode similar to that on Sol has not appeared yet. As more and more TVLs are added to the base chain, a certain mode may appear in the near future. Please pay close attention.
