PANews reported on July 23 that according to Red Star News, at 13:07 on July 22, the "Tai'an" (Star Era-16) satellite was successfully launched into orbit at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China on the Ceres-1 Yao-6 carrier rocket. This is the world's first in-orbit visual blockchain satellite, and it also marks the successful completion of Guoxing Aerospace's 12th space mission. The Star Era AI satellite constellation networking process will be steadily advanced in 2023.
It is understood that the "Tai'an" (Star Era-16) satellite adopts the ADASAT-30 lightweight intelligent satellite platform independently developed by China Star Aerospace, equipped with a high-performance hyperspectral remote sensing payload. It is also equipped with the innovatively developed satellite-borne blockchain ADAChain payload and star screen system for the first time. It will perform the world's first visual blockchain on-orbit evidence storage and related commercial services, and launch a series of space computing content applications such as the world's first space digital life social platform (Silicon Me).
The satellite platform is equipped with an innovative visual blockchain on-orbit evidence storage system independently developed by Guoxing Aerospace, which realizes functions such as on-orbit visual blockchain multi-signature authentication, on-orbit video visual broadcasting and recording, and on-orbit visual remote sensing data evidence storage and confirmation, creating a deep integration of blockchain and space technology, which will be applied to industries such as finance and government services.
