Blockchain technology has not yet tapped into its true commercial value.
Someone may argue that real business such as payment, rwm (real world mapping, and real-world item mapping, that is, mutual binding).
RWM is actually the most ridiculous, at least for now, because it requires one or more authoritative third parties to complete the mapping process. For example, if I want to map my real estate into a currency, I need a third party to complete the evaluation and tokenization. I need to find this third party for redemption or cashing out, so this third party must have credibility. Otherwise, if the third party takes the real estate and runs away with the sister-in-law, who can I find for redemption? RWM is also used for traceability, which is similar. There must be a credible third party to complete the mapping process, and then there is the circulation process, and the mapping process corresponds to tokenization (such as recording the various parameters of the item, as well as pictures and so on).
Let’s talk about real business such as payment. To be honest, I think blockchain is not suitable for business systems, unless there is no requirement for delay or data consistency (payment consistency is very high), because blockchain itself must be decentralized, and it must lose time to synchronize data, otherwise data consistency cannot be guaranteed, and there will be overpayment and other situations.
Another reason is who will bear the expenses of the project party and the miners. The common practice is to raise funds and issue coins, which will lead to securities issues.
The last fatal reason is that it is impossible to use real blockchain technology for real business (only for POW). When the benefits reach a certain level, a group of mining pools with higher computing power can control the network. However, POS is actually contrary to the spirit of blockchain (strictly speaking, it is more capitalist) and is more vulnerable to attacks, of course, when the benefits can cover the costs.
You are welcome to refute my point of view.
