Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund Temasek said it does not currently plan to invest in cryptocurrency companies amid uncertainty over the regulation of the cryptocurrency industry. Although the official statement has suspended investment, the investment pace of its early Web3 venture capital fund Superscrypt has not slowed down. Since 2023, Superscrypt has made 12 investments, including a total of 4 in June. In addition, Temasek has announced nearly seven investments in the blockchain field, including well-known projects such as FTX, FTX.US, Amber Group, and Immutable.

Temasek’s attitude towards encryption is a benchmark. As the most influential national sovereign fund, it officially entered the blockchain field around 2018. However, the FTX thunderstorm damaged Temasek's reputation, initiated an internal review, and opened up venture capital accountability, which became a turning point in its tightening of crypto investments.
