According to Foresight News, Taiko, a zkRollup-based Ethereum second-layer network, announced the launch of a community grant program, which aims to discover and support innovative community members who build and develop on the Taiko ecosystem, and provide economic incentives and developer resources. All grants will be awarded in the form of future Taiko tokens, of which up to 0.2% of the total token supply will be allocated only to the first recipient project.
Taiko said donation categories include zero-knowledge proof (ZKP), education and community, proposer optimization, alternative proposer-prover token economics, proof market, social/messaging DApp, NFT bridge and market, games, and AI integration.
