According to Foresight News, according to The Block, Binance promoted Eleanor Hughes to the new general counsel. Hughes joined the Binance legal team in November 2021 and recently served as legal director for the Asia Pacific and Middle East and North Africa regions, and helped the exchange obtain licenses in Bahrain, Dubai and New Zealand. Hughes will lead Binance's legal affairs with a team of 85 lawyers and work with the global compliance team to resolve regulatory and legal issues.
