Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin suggested that Bitcoin users do more experimentation to become more than just payments. According to him, Bitcoin has strange politics and does not suit him. In a discussion with Eric Wall and Udi Wertheimer, Vitalik highlighted the problem of Bitcoin's slow transaction speeds and the importance of second-tier scaling solutions. He recommends Plasma and ZK Rollups as scaling options Bitcoin could consider. Vitalik also discusses security issues, Bitcoin's hard limits, and finds similarities between the two ecosystems. He hopes there is at least one chain that develops for the progress of the crypto ecosystem as a whole.
