Early this morning, NFT aggregation trading platform Blur announced that Blur V 2 was officially launched, launching a new feature called "Trait Bidding" and reducing transaction gas fees by 50%. As soon as the news came out, the BLUR token rose by nearly 2% in a short period of time, and then fell to around $0.33.

According to the official tweet, the specific content of this update is as follows:

1. As part of the Blur v 2 upgrade, Blur v 1 bids will no longer be valid. If you have previously bid, please be sure to recreate your bid in Blur v 2.

2. Blur v 2 has made a lot of optimizations to save Gas. Now, the transaction Gas cost on Blur has been reduced by 50%; at the current Gas price, buying a single NFT on Blur v 2 can save $16. All smart contracts of Blur v 2 have been audited by Chain Light (Note: the last smart contract audit partner was Code 4 rena).

3. Trait bidding. Previously, users could only bid on multiple collections at once on Blur. Now V 2 allows you to bid on medium, rare, or any trait you want; all collections support trait bidding, but only specific collections can get trait bidding points.

4. Feature Bidding Points. The specific score depends on how much higher the feature bid is than the highest set bid and the supply of features. Currently, only 12 sets support feature bidding points, namely: Wrapped Cryptopunks, Azuki, Milady, DeGods, Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, PudgyPenguins, Otherdeed, BoredApeKennelClub, CloneX, Beanz, Doodles.
