Odaily Planet Daily News: Rathnakishore Giri, an investment manager in Ohio, was arrested on Friday for allegedly running a cryptocurrency investment scam that raised at least $10 million from investors. Giri allegedly misled investors by promoting himself as a cryptocurrency trading expert who was proficient in Bitcoin derivatives. According to the indictment, Giri falsely promised investors that the funds they invested with him would receive generous returns without risking the principal. Giri is currently charged with five counts of wire fraud and faces a maximum sentence of 20 years for each count if convicted. (CoinDesk)
