The mobile mining project Pi Network features no energy consumption and no traffic. With just one click per day, you can automatically earn Pi Tokens, attracting a large number of users to participate. However, the Vietnamese authorities do not believe that there is such a good thing in the world, and recently launched an investigation against Pi Network on the grounds of suspected fraud.

According to local media reports, Vietnam’s Ministry of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention announced on June 30 that authorities are investigating activities involving Pi Network and Pi coins.

Le Xu Minh, the head of the department, pointed out at a meeting held in Hanoi that the operating model of Pi Coin is extremely complex and lacks management. In fact, there is no commercial activity that can generate such huge profits online.

Le Xu Minh warned that there are signs that many people have been coerced by Pi Network promoters to join a "business model similar to multi-level marketing (commonly known as the Rat Club)", adding that police forces in many places are Begin investigating activity related to Pi coins.

He finally reminded that cryptocurrencies that advertise "high yield" or use multi-level marketing models usually have many risks, and called on the public not to invest.

Since the launch of Pi Network in 2019, there have been mixed reviews from all walks of life. Some people think that Pi is actually a laminated scam, pulling people everywhere and delaying the launch of the main network. However, some users feel that they just mined some Pi coins with their mobile phones. So at most it's just a waste of some resources on the phone.
