The bank card is frozen. Whether it will be automatically unfrozen depends on the reason, status and nature of the freezing.
There are mainly two situations.
1. Because the bank’s risk control model was triggered, the bank’s system risk control was imposed.
This kind of freeze has no expiration date and must be lifted manually. If you don't take the initiative to deal with it, it will always be frozen.
2. The bank card has been suspended by the police. This kind of freeze usually has a time limit of 72 hours and 6 months.
Of course, if your bank card has just been frozen by the public security or judicial authorities, you will most likely get the following reply if you ask the bank: Your card has been frozen by the Criminal Investigation Team of XX City, XX Province, and there is no expiration date.
The reason is very simple, it is still within the temporary suspension period of the public security. This period is 72 hours, so the bank may not see the specific freezing time.
Generally speaking, you can wait for the 72 hours that the public security department stops payment. If the funds are not unfrozen after 72 hours, it is likely to be frozen for another six months. At that time, you can contact the public security department in another place to unfreeze them.
So, once your assets are frozen by the court for 6 months, can you wait for them to be automatically unfrozen after the 6 months expire? My answer is: don’t wait!
Because the probability of automatic thawing in 6 months is less than 10% (based on the experience of 500 thawing cases in the past).
Moreover, once your bank card is frozen for 6 months, it is possible that your bank card will be confiscated by the first-level stolen money involved in the case. If you do not handle it in time, you will be included in the public security blacklist of those involved in the case, causing all other bank cards under your name to be frozen. In serious cases, your bank card will be cut off as punishment.
How to contact the police in other places, how to communicate, and what materials to submit all require a targeted plan based on the circumstances of your case and the behavior behind it.
