Revoke.cash

It is a preventive risk scanning tool that can be used to view the token authorization status of our wallet address and help us perform a proper wallet status check. When we see some risky and unnecessary authorizations, we can use Revoke cash to cancel the authorization and reduce the potential risk of our account.

Why it's worth doing

Merlin Chain has been very popular since its launch. Friends may have authorized a lot of tokens during interaction. Unlimited authorization contracts mean there may be potential risks. Currently, only Revoke cash can check the authorization status of tokens on Merlin, which is safe regardless of size!

Operation Tutorial

Since Revoke can only link to the EVM address for authorization detection, this tutorial will take two wallets as examples to teach you how to check your authorization status.

EVM wallet using OKX as an example

First, we click to enter the Revoke official website

https://revoke.cash/zh/token-approval-checker/merlin, click the link wallet in the upper right corner to link

You can choose MetaMask or Browser Wallet

After completing the link and authorization, we will enter a screen like this. We can see that this wallet address only authorizes iUSD.

Click Cancel on the right and confirm on the pop-up page

Then you will find that our authorization has been cancelled and you will need to re-authorize the next time you want to trade.

This is it. I suggest you cancel the authorization of some tokens that you no longer have or that are rarely traded. Pay a little gas and improve the security of your account.

UniSat Wallet

UniSat cannot directly connect to Revoke for authorization detection, so we need to find out the EVM address corresponding to Unisat first.

Enter the Merlin Chain official website https://merlinchain.io/, after linking the Unisats wallet in the upper right corner, click the lower right corner to view the EVM address

After getting the EVM address, we enter the Revoke official website

https://revoke.cash/zh/token-approval-checker/merlin, fill in our address in the address box and you can check it.

However, you can only query it for now, and you cannot cancel the authorization through Revoke. We will update this article after support is available.
