A popular cryptocurrency analyst named Kaleo has shared his predictions for when Bitcoin (BTC) might hit six-digit prices for the first time. Kaleo said Bitcoin will cross the $100,000 mark by the end of 2024 or early 2025. He speculates that the timing could even be as early as late 2024, making 2025 an exciting year for Bitcoin enthusiasts.
Kaleo’s predictions are consistent with the Bitcoin halving event scheduled to take place in April 2024. Historically, such events have impacted significant price movements in the cryptocurrency market.
The analyst is closely watching Bitcoin’s price performance relative to the Nasdaq 100 Index (NDX). Kaleo highlighted that Bitcoin is currently breaking out of a bearish downtrend on the NDX, a pattern that has historically heralded the start of a major rally in the leading cryptocurrency.
“Bitcoin vs. NDX. This remains one of my favorite chart comparisons to watch. Historically, when Bitcoin breaks out of an HTF (High Time Frame) bearish downtrend (as seen in the chart below), it has done better relative to tech stocks. There's going to be a massive rally. That's where you stack up."
One of Kaleo's favorite chart comparisons is the correlation between Bitcoin and the NDX, and he encourages investors to pay attention to these trends, which suggest this could be a good time to accumulate Bitcoin.
