Cointime news on June 28: The federal judge in the criminal trial of FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried has rejected his pretrial motion to dismiss his conviction, two weeks after dismissing some motions. Bankman-Fried filed last month in seven pretrial motions to dismiss most of the counts, including wire fraud, bank fraud, unauthorized money transfer, bribery and campaign finance charges. U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan of the Southern District denied the last three motions after a hearing earlier this month.
