After completing 21 shows in North America, it's time for the whole world to see The Weeknd. Next up: 30 appearances in Europe (June to August 2023), followed by 12 appearances in Latin America (September to October 2023).
Introducing The Weeknd's Official Souvenir NFT
If you have tickets to The Weeknd's upcoming concerts in Europe or Latin America, you will receive a code from Ticketmaster (residency restrictions apply), which can be used to get official digital collectibles.
Please note that at the time of writing (March 2023), codes will only be sent to fans attending the following concerts on The Weeknd's global tour:
Europe: Barcelona (Spain); Madrid (Spain); Brussels (Belgium); Horsens (Denmark); Milan (Italy); Oslo (Norway); Prague (Czech Republic); Stockholm (Sweden); Tallinn (Estonia); Warsaw (Poland).
Latin America: Bogotá (Colombia); Buenos Aires (Argentina); Guadalajara (Mexico); Mexico City (Mexico); Monterrey (Mexico); Lima, Peru); Rio de Janeiro (Brazil); Sao Paulo (Brazil).
Codes are sent in several waves. So, please be patient if you qualify but haven't received it yet. The code may be sent closer to the concert date at your location.
The Weeknd Souvenir NFT Explained
If you're new to crypto, you might be wondering about these Souvenir NFTs. What exactly is an NFT? NFT (non-fungible token) is a type of digital asset that is unique and cannot be replaced by another identical item. In short, NFTs are tokens that represent ownership or authenticity of unique digital content.
In the case of the Souvenir NFTs created by Binance in collaboration with The Weeknd, these tokens help fans create and keep an official digital record of their presence on tour.
Basically, it's a way to keep physical concert ticket stubs or stickers as a 21st century version of a keepsake. These NFTs can also be a fun and easy introduction to Web3 and blockchain technology, as well as unlock exclusive access to more The Weeknd!
The Weeknd's upcoming Tour NFT
Additionally, Binance and The Weeknd are working on a special Tour NFT Collection. While Souvenir NFTs are only available to fans attending the global tour at select locations, the Tour NFTs are part of a separate collection that will be available for sale to fans and collectors (residence-based restrictions apply).
This special collection will feature beautiful works of art and a number of surprises. This isn't The Weeknd's first foray into the world of digital collectibles — in fact, the musician previously sold one of his unreleased songs as an NFT.

Raising Money for the XO Humanitarian Fund
Once the NFT Tour Collection is launched, a percentage of sales will go to the XO Humanitarian Fund initiated by The Weeknd and managed by the World Food Program (WFP). As a WFP UN Goodwill Ambassador, The Weeknd launched the XO Humanitarian Fund to provide food to millions of people on the brink of starvation.
To celebrate Binance and The Weeknd's partnership and in line with our commitment to giving back — as evidenced in part by Binance Charity's humanitarian work — we are proud to share that we have donated $2 million to The Weeknd's fund.
