According to TechFlow, AltLayer has announced that their recently launched MACH AVS is now live on the EigenLayer mainnet together with Xterio MACH AVS. These two are among the earliest AVS on EigenLayer, launched together with EigenDA. Now, these two AVS are ready to receive ETH token holders. These AVS are operated by more than 20 institutional operators.
MACH operates as an AVS, and users can delegate ETH or LST to any registered operator, while also being able to delegate ALT tokens. The economic collateral used to secure MACH is then used to prove the validity of a given Rollup state; thus providing a fast final state layer for Rollups.
As a fast-final-state AVS, MACH provides the following core services to end users of OP Mainnet: fast pre-confirmation of Rollup transactions, cryptoeconomic security to detect any malicious network participants, and decentralized verification of Rollup status.
