When you encounter something, you do not handle it satisfactorily, which means that you have not developed wisdom and the Dharma has not been activated in you.
If you have Buddha in your heart and become one with Buddha, you must be a very wise person, and your personality charm will naturally shine through.
But in fact, your words, deeds, and thoughts are all based on personal gain and loss. When you encounter good things, you rush forward to take credit. When encountering bad things, you retreat and shirk responsibility. How can you be like a Buddhist practitioner? What about the people?
Therefore, when something happens, you should be grateful. Be grateful that this incident allows you to reveal your true colors and see your "true face".
If nothing happens, how do you know yourself?
