Key takeaways

  • The Binance Angels are a group of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about Binance and dedicate their time to advancing the crypto movement.

  • The majority of our Angels are experienced Binance users, who know our trading tools down to the smallest detail.

  • In this article, we give the floor to our Binance Angels to share with you their favorite trading features on Binance!

Today, the trading experience on Binance is enhanced with features aimed at all types of users, from novices to the most experienced. With such a number of tools available in our ecosystem, knowing how to choose the ones that suit you is sometimes difficult.

To help you build the best crypto toolkit, we asked our Binance Angels (who are mostly experienced Binance users) about their favorite features and how they improve their trading experience.

Note: Binance Angels are not Binance employees, but passionate crypto volunteers forming their own community. They do not speak on behalf of Binance and their opinions are their own.

1. L’interface de trading — Parth

I especially like how easy the charts are to use, both on the mobile and web versions of Binance Pro. All indicators and parameters are carefully categorized, making it easy for me to find the analyzes I need without getting lost or having to use another platform.

Additionally, the color coding and contrast that Binance uses makes charts clearer and easier to analyze and manipulate.

2. Bollinger Bands — Kazeem

Bollinger Bands (BB) help me immensely when trading in a range market, that is, when prices fluctuate between a high level and a low level (the “price range”). Using BB indicators, I can make smarter buying and take-profit decisions within the price range.

I also want to say how convenient the multiple time frame chart layout is! This very interesting feature allows me to compare trends over different periods, all without leaving the page.

3. Portfolio monitoring — dml25

The portfolio tracker offered by Binance's Spot trading service is my favorite feature. I can click on any crypto in my wallet to open a full pane of related data and actions, including available trading pairs, asset history, and of course, buying and selling.

Even better, the G and P analysis page presents my performance and tracks the evolution of my portfolio.

4. The OCO order (cancellation of one by the other) — Gideon

I use OCO orders very often because of their flexibility. For any trade, I can simultaneously set up a Stop-loss order to limit my potential losses and a Take-profit order to exit the trade. This strategy allows me to avoid making decisions based on emotion, a situation that frequently arises during trading activities and which sometimes causes traders to hold an asset too long or panic and sell it too soon.

5. Trendlines and K-Lines – Jeff

Binance K-Lines help me spot key market reversal points based on selected time frames. I often combine K-Lines with horizontal trendlines to mark support and resistance levels, and these two features provide a solid foundation for my daily trading activities.

6. Limit and Market maker orders — Ali

Depending on the situation, I use two types of orders: Limit orders and Market maker orders. Limit orders allow me to buy or sell my cryptos at a specific price.

If I want to prioritize speed over precision, I use Market maker orders. The price at which my order executes is then not my priority, which is extremely useful when I want to enter or exit a position quickly: in fact, Market maker orders execute without delay.

7. Price alerts — Kirchanov

My daily life is very hectic: I work until 8 p.m. and I have a lot of responsibilities. With the crypto market open 24/7, there's not a second to lose - which is why price alerts are the trading feature I use most often.

I can set the crypto and price level I want, as well as how often Binance sends notifications. This allows me to focus on my professional tasks and my personal life because I know that Binance will notify me as soon as a specific crypto reaches my chosen price or falls below a certain threshold.

8. 15-minute charts — Ribka

When trading on Binance, I always use the 15-minute charts because they suit my trading style perfectly and allow me to see short-term price trends in the market at a glance. If you didn't know, it is possible to set 1 second intervals for Binance charts!

Trade responsibly

Remember to never trade more than you can afford to lose. Most of our Binance Angels have been trading crypto for years, which has allowed them to hone their skills and develop their own risk management strategies.
