Taiko is a decentralized Ethereum equivalent of ZK-EVM and universal ZK-Rollup. The aim is to allow developers and users of dApps developed for Ethereum L1 to use them on Taiko without any changes. As a result, dApps can be easily deployed to L2, inheriting the security of Ethereum while incurring lower transaction fees than L1.
Taiko’s investors include Ou Yi and others, and the amount has not been announced.
Taiko Alpha-3 is still an incentivized testnet.
Tutorial starts:
1. Add Sepolia testnet and Taiko testnet

Open the website above and search for Sepolia
Check the box in front of Include Testnets, then find Sepolia and add it to the wallet
Then we continue to search for Taiko
Check the box in front of Include Testnets, then find Taiko Alpha-3 and add it to the wallet
2. Add Bull/Horse/TTKO tokens to your wallet
Taking the Little Fox Wallet as an example, we open the Little Fox Wallet and switch the network to the Taiko Alpha-3 test network
We select the asset and click Add Asset below
Add the following three tokens in sequence
Bull Token：0x6302744962a0578E814c675B40909e64D9966B0d
Horse Token：0xa4505BB7AA37c2B68CfBC92105D10100220748EB
Taiko Token：0x7b1a3117B2b9BE3a3C31e5a097c7F890199666aC
3. Get the test token SepoliaETH

Open the website above, log in with Google email, enter the wallet address, and click Send.
Received successfully

4. Receive the test token BLL/Horse (TTKO cannot currently receive it)

Open the website above, connect the wallet in the upper right corner, and switch the network to the Sepolia test network
Select Faucet and receive the test token BLL
Click mint Bull Token
Confirm in wallet
Received successfully
Use the same method to get Horse Token
Select Horse Token, click mint Horse Token, and confirm in the wallet
5. Use Taiko Bridge (bridge ETH, HORSE and/or BLL from Sepolia to Taiko)

Open the website above, connect the wallet, and switch the network to the Sepolia test network
We first select ETH, enter the amount, and click Bridge
Confirm in wallet
Next we select Transactions above, the ETH we just crossed over will appear, we click Claim
Next we use the same method to send BLL, enter the amount and click Approve
Approved in wallet
Next click on Bridge
Confirm in the wallet and wait for completion.
When we select Transactions above, the BLL we just crossed will appear. We click Claim.
The wallet will switch to the Taiko test network, click Claim again, and confirm in the wallet.
I will not test HORSE. The method is the same as BLL.
6. Bridge ETH, HORSE and/or BLL from Taiko to Sepolia
The method for this step is the same as step 5, no demonstration is required.
Just do the reverse operation
7. Deploy your own contract in Taiko (send your own token)

Open the website above, select ERC20, enter the name, quantity, etc. of the token to be created, and click Copy
It should be noted here that you need to copy all the code, no less, otherwise it will not be compiled later.

Click New File to create a new folder
Enter folder name
Paste the code you just copied into it
Then click the third button on the left and click Compile Dora.sol
A green check mark appears, indicating that the compilation was successful.
Next click the fourth button and select the Little Fox Wallet on the top ENVIRONMENT. The Little Fox Wallet network must be switched to the Taiko Alpha-3 test network. This is very important.
Then click Deploy
Confirm in wallet
A green checkmark appears below, indicating that the contract deployment was successful.
8. Query the deployment contract and add your own tokens to the wallet

Open the website above, enter your wallet address in the upper right corner, and select your wallet address
Find the token we just created and click
Copy contract address
Open the Little Fox wallet, switch to the Taiko Alpha-3 test network, and click Add Assets below.
Enter the contract address we just copied and add tokens
