We are pleased to announce that Binance has achieved ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 Information Security Governance and Information Privacy Management certifications in three jurisdictions in Europe and the Middle East : France, Bahrain and United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Implementing strong security and privacy measures has always been a priority for Binance, and these ISO certifications demonstrate the company's continued efforts in this regard.

A-LIGN, the External Auditor, a technology-driven security and compliance partner trusted by more than 4,000 global organizations to help them reduce cybersecurity risks, awarded both ISO certifications to Binance following a thorough and comprehensive assessment of the security and privacy areas of its operations.

Information security and data protection at Binance

According to Jimmy Su, Head of Security at Binance, information security governance is an essential aspect of modern organizations. By obtaining these internationally recognized certifications, Binance demonstrates that it has effective controls and protections in place in these key areas.

Maintaining Compliance and Geographic Expansion

Going forward, Binance will undergo annual surveillance audits to ensure it remains compliant with the standards set out in the ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications. There are also plans to expand the certifications to other regions and obtain other internationally recognized security, privacy and compliance certifications.
