Google Trends data shows that the word "crypto" is currently at a popularity of 17, which has dropped to its lowest point since December 2020 and is much lower than May 2021 (hotness was 100). Bitcoin and Ethereum are also showing a similar downward trend in popularity.
The decline in investor interest in Bitcoin comes as the price of Bitcoin has remained stable at around $28,000 for 10 consecutive weeks. Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz recently described it as "lack of dynamism" due to the current lack of institutional interest in buying cryptocurrencies. (Cointelegraph)
