Rosbank was the first among systemically important banks to launch solutions for cross-border payments in cryptocurrency, a representative of the bank told Vedomosti. He said that the bank is already conducting pilot transactions with corporate and private clients.

The technical support for cryptocurrency payments is provided by the Russian fintech service B-crypto, which specializes in international payments in digital currencies.

In order to use the service and pay for imported goods or services in cryptocurrency, a Russian company must go through the KYC (Know Your Client, verification) procedure in Rosbank and B-crypto.
