From the beginning, Binance has been surrounded by one of the most committed crypto communities. We had the opportunity to talk with Ysidro, one of its most prominent representatives, to learn about his history, his interests, his beginnings and his next plans.
What is your story, Ysidro?
Hello! I am Ysidro Rodríguez. I am 29 years old.
What do you enjoy in your free time?
I like to study, learn and continue training with courses or research on my own. I play soccer and baseball, go to the movies and play video games. I love traveling!
How did you get into the industry?
In 2015, when I joined an airdrop community. I found it curious and looked for as much information as I could through videos and social networks. Information was very scarce back then.
Who told you about crypto?
It was through the Communities on Telegram and on social networks. I found influencers who created content to show others how to make money online.
How did you find out about Binance Angels?
I have been part of the community since 2017—with the arrival of Binance—but as a user. It was not until 2019 that I learned of the existence of Binance Angels, although their objective was not clear to me. It was until I watched a video on the official Binance YouTube channel where I better understood what the program is about. I entered the web portal and found the information I was looking for.
What motivated you to be one?
I love helping the community and passing on knowledge… but I also enjoy learning. There is a misconception that to manage a community you need to know everything... but in reality it is about learning from others and there is always some user who has something to teach you.
Best moment/anecdote as a Binance Angel?
I fondly remember my first crypto event. I was able to meet many people with whom I had exchanged countless messages on Telegram and social networks. It was very nice to talk and exchange ideas with others.
What do you like most about the Binance community?
We are all a family, always interested in learning, guiding and listening.
What qualities should a Binance Angel have?
Many! A Binance Angel must be sincere, responsible, disciplined, creative, respectful and passionate. It is not necessary to have experience, but you do need commitment and desire to learn, because the platform and the ecosystem are constantly changing.
