The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today filed a cryptocurrency fraud lawsuit against a company called Icomtech and five of its executives.
Notably, in the complaint, the regulator named Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDC as “commodities.”
Previously, CFTC Chairman Rostin Behnam said in an interview that BTC and ETH are commodities and strongly opposed SEC law enforcement supervision. (Todayq)
