The plenary session of the National Assembly of South Korea passed two bills this afternoon, the "Amendment to the National Assembly Law" and the "Amendment to the Public Officials Ethics Law", which will require legislators and senior public officials to register virtual assets.

Members of the 22nd National Assembly will be required to register their cryptocurrency holdings in their property matters, and members of the 21st National Assembly will be required to register their cryptocurrency holdings and changes acquired and held from the beginning of their term to May 21 by the end of June this year.
