Build the Block, Web3's first-ever reality show for entrepreneurs set entirely in the metaverse, launches on May 12 at noon GMT.

This May, viewers around the world will be able to witness a unique event in television history and watch the brightest minds of the Web3 world battle it out in an exciting virtual arena.

Produced by our global creative studio, Binance Studio, in collaboration with Binance Labs, Build the Block will feature 12 up-and-coming Web3 projects that will compete for the exposure and influence needed to grow a startup into a successful enterprise.

Format

Over the course of seven 20-minute episodes, contestants will compete for the attention of a live audience represented by avatars and a panel of judges, which includes:

  • Yi He, co-founder and chief marketing officer of Binance, and head of Binance Labs

  • Yibo Ling, Binance Chief Business Officer

  • Robbie Yeung, CEO of Animoca Brands Investment and Partner at Animoca Capital

  • Azim Khan, Head of Fundraising and Partnerships at Gitcoin

  • Guy Turner, co-founder and face of CoinBureau

The projects that receive the most votes from the jury—opinion leaders, venture investors, and project founders—will move on to the next stage, where the judges will ask them additional questions and evaluate their answers. The winners of each episode will be featured on the Binance Labs platform, and the project with the most points across the entire show by the June 2nd finale will be crowned the winner.
