At Microsoft's Build 2023 developer conference, the company announced that it will add a feature in the coming months. Microsoft announced the addition of the Copilot AI assistant to Windows 11. When using this feature, it will be like the Copilot sidebar seen in Edge, Office applications, and even GitHub.

Microsoft has agreed to sign all AI artwork generated by its applications with a cryptographic watermark indicating that it was made with an algorithm. Microsoft will cryptographically sign AI-generated images from Bing Image Creator and Microsoft Designer. Images made with Bing Image Creator already include a small “b” in the bottom right corner. However, images generated by Microsoft Designer’s visual design tool do not. Now, Microsoft will sign images generated by both tools in accordance with C2PA standards and clearly disclose the source in the image’s metadata.

In addition, artificial intelligence development agency OpenAI will begin using Bing as the default search engine for ChatGPT. The new search feature is available to ChatGPT Plus users today and will soon be enabled for all free ChatGPT users through a plug-in in ChatGPT. (The Paper)
