Build the Block is the world's first Web3 reality show featuring entrepreneurs entirely in the Metaverse. Its first episode will air on May 12 at noon (GMT).
This May, viewers around the world will have the opportunity to witness a historic television moment, as the best Web3 talents compete in an immersive virtual arena.
Produced by Binance Studio (our own global creative studio) in collaboration with Binance Labs, Build the Block pits 12 promising Web3 projects against each other with the visibility and traction needed to scale their start-ups into game-changing businesses.
Show format
Build the Block is divided into seven 20-minute episodes during which candidates will compete verbally in front of an audience of live avatars and a jury composed of:
Yi He, Co-Founder and CMO of Binance, and Director of Binance Labs
Yi Bo Ling, Binance commercial director
Robby Yung, CEO of Animoca Brands Investment and Partner of Animoca Capital
Azeem Khan, Head of Fundraising and Partnerships at Gitcoin
Guy Turner, co-founder and representative of CoinBureau
The projects garnering the most votes from certain members of the public (including influencers, venture capitalists and project founders) will advance to a question/answer round where the jury will ask them questions additional information in order to evaluate them. The winners of each episode will be featured on Binance Labs, and the project with the highest rating from the entire show will be crowned the winner in the final episode airing on April 7.
