Jito (JTO) token price continued to rise on Saturday as Solana jumped to highs of $200. The coin surged to a high of $3.90, its highest since December 9. It has soared more than 150% from its lows this year and has a market capitalization of more than $300 million.

Jito is the leader in the liquidity staking industry and is slowly catching up to Marinade Finance. Its website data shows that investors have deposited 8.9 million Solana tokens in the ecosystem. Jito has more than $1.7 billion in assets at current prices.

Over 89,000 investors have added their Solana tokens to the ecosystem. Their APR is 7.90%.

Jito, which launched a few months ago, is quickly catching up to Marinade Finance, the largest player in the Solana ecosystem. Marinade holds over 10.3 million Solana tokens, with a total value locked (TVL) of over $2 billion. Marinade Finance has over 107,500 investors.

As Solana continues to gain market share in the crypto industry, Jito and Marinade Finance have become the largest players in the liquidity staking industry.

Solana’s market cap has soared to more than $85 billion, making it the industry’s fifth-largest cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether and BNB.

The majority of Solana’s market capitalization is already staked. According to StakeRewards, more than $72 billion worth of Solana tokens have been staked.

Liquid staking is one of the fastest growing areas in the cryptocurrency industry. It differs from traditional staking methods in that stakers can withdraw funds and rewards before the end of the month.
