Odaily Planet Daily News: Marvel Studios founder David Maisel said at the "2023 Consensus" conference on Friday that Marvel Studios was independent of major Hollywood production companies in its early days, and it was self-funded, reminiscent of the early days of Web3. Maisel recently founded Mythos Studio and launched the Ekos Genesis art collection earlier this month. The project uses original art from the late comic artists Michael Turner and Peter Steigerwald, who are known for creating Marvel and DC comics. In Maisel's view, part of the fun of Web3 and digital art is that it can be shared.
