Odaily Planet Daily News BTCSnap is using the MetaMask Snap extension to allow users to manage their BTC directly in the MetaMask interface. Since BTC is not an ERC-20 Token, it could not be added to MetaMask before, and could only be traded using wrapped Bitcoin wBTC or Binance-pegged Bitcoin BTCB. According to JustSnap, the development company behind BTCSnap, the BTCSnap extension has officially released the mainnet version, but because MetaMask's Snap extension is a pre-release software, BitcoinSnap currently only runs on the canary release Metamask Flask accessible to developers.
