Phantom is a cryptocurrency wallet and browser extension developed on top of the Solana blockchain to facilitate digital asset management and access to decentralized services.

Through the wallet, users can participate in various activities such as buying, sending, receiving, transferring and exchanging tokens and NFTs. Phantom Wallet is accessible through both mobile devices and web browsers and includes support for Solana dApps with Ledger support.

As part of its plans to expand its service, Phantom has added integrated support for Ethereum and Polygon, signaling a move towards broader compatibility.

Phantom currently supports Ethereum and Polygon

The expansion plan to support new chains was shared by Phantom three months ago. Currently, Phantom has expanded its services on Ethereum and Polygon, in addition to Solana. Users can now access new support provided by Phantom. This development could increase Phantom's popularity and potentially challenge MetaMask.

Brandon Millman, co-founder and CEO of Phantom, said: “We believe the future of digital asset management lies in cross-chain interoperability, and we are committed to providing users using the tools and resources they need to easily navigate and transact across different blockchain networks.”

According to the announcement, the upgraded wallet will allow users to view all of their holdings and NFTs in one place. Additionally, users can connect to dApps on SOL, MATIC, and ETH.
