According to a court document released by the judicial administrator of the bankrupt crypto lending platform Hodlnaut, several of Holdnaut's largest creditors said they wanted the company to be liquidated rather than reorganized. Creditors opposing the reorganization include the Algorand Foundation and Samtrade Custodian Limited, which is currently in liquidation. The value of these creditors' claims is about $170 million.

In August 2022, Hodlnaut filed an application with the High Court in Singapore seeking creditor protection to temporarily suspend legal claims and proceedings and avoid forced sales of tokens at low prices so that it could stabilize its financial situation and focus on restructuring and recovery plans.
