The notice stated that starting from May, the full amount of digital RMB salary will be paid to civil servants (including public servants), public institution staff, and staff of state-owned units at all levels in Changshu City. An informed source revealed to reporters that "the document is true."
Previously, Changshu has promoted the digital RMB pilot project across all areas of the city, and digital RMB payment can now be used in many consumption scenarios.
