A document shows that the Changshu City Local Financial Supervision and Administration Bureau and the Changshu City Finance Bureau recently issued the "Notice on the Implementation of Full Digital RMB Salary Payment". The notice stated that starting from May, Changshu City's civil servants (including public servants), public institutions and state-owned units at all levels will receive full digital RMB salary payments.
As early as the 17th, Changshu City held a special promotion meeting for the city's digital RMB pilot work, which mentioned that Jiangsu Province has launched a full-area digital RMB pilot this year. In addition, on March 6, the Jiangdu Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China successfully landed the first digital RMB salary payment business in Yangzhou on the 2nd, distributing a total of 22 salaries and subsidies to employees of the Jiangdu Branch of the People's Bank of China.
