Elon Musk tweeted that it looks like SpaceX could be ready to launch Starship again in 1-2 months.

He also explained that three months ago, the SpaceX team began building a huge water-cooled steel plate to be placed under the launch pad, but it was not ready in time. Based on static fire test data, the team mistakenly believed that the original base under the launch pad could survive the first test flight of Starship.

Earlier news, SpaceX said that the test flight of the starship seemed not satisfactory enough, and the starship spacecraft had an unplanned disintegration. The team will continue to review the data and work hard for the next flight test.
