Users complained about nonsense in ChatGPT replies

On the evening of February 21, ChatGPT began producing "unexpected responses," according to OpenAI's status page. Users published screenshots of their conversations with the neural network.
“We are looking into reports of unexpected ChatGPT responses,” OpenAI wrote on its status page.

An hour later, the company added that it was continuing to monitor the situation.
From February 20 to 21, numerous nonsensical responses from ChatGPT were published on media platforms and social networks. They were a kind of mixture of English, Spanish, Latin and just a set of letters. In some cases, the chatbot simply repeated the same phrase until it filled the user's entire screen.
The latest update on the OpenAI status page indicates that ChatGPT is working fine. It took 18 hours to solve the problem. The reasons for this behavior of the chatbot are still unknown.
