Microsoft (MSFT) and decentralized data platform Space and Time have partnered to provide real-time blockchain data to developers directly from the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

The partnership comes about seven months after Microsoft's venture capital arm, M12, led a $20 million strategic funding round for Space and Time.

Marketplace is an online store that offers applications and services for use on Microsoft's Azure cloud platform, second only to Amazon Web Services among the world's largest cloud infrastructure service providers. in the fourth quarter, according to Statista data.

Space and Time provides real-time data extracted from major blockchains combined with off-chain data sets provided by customers. The end result is a combined transactional and analytical database pre-loaded with real-time blockchain native data.

One-click deployment through Azure Marketplace gives developers the ability to access, manage, and perform analytics on blockchain data. Businesses can build on blockchain without improving their existing technology architecture.

“Partnering with Microsoft makes a lot of sense for us, and building with Azure will bring tremendous value to our organization as we build on these pillars to ensure that the world has verifiability in a time where data is complex and data transparency will be more important than ever,” Space and Time co-founder and CEO Nate Holiday told CoinDesk in an interview .
