Over the past 24 hours, the amount of deposits into Ethereum staking (94,968 ETH) for the first time since the activation of the Shapella hard fork exceeded the withdrawal volumes (27,076 ETH). This is evidenced by Nansen on-chain data.

  • The majority of deposits are accounted for by the Lido Finance protocol – 30.9%. Next come the exchanges Coinbase (12.8%) and Kraken (6.8%).

    A total of 472,000 ETH has been added to staking since the update. At the time of writing, users have already withdrawn about 1.06 million ETH.

    A total of 18.68 million ETH is locked in the network, including rewards - this amounts to 14.5% of the coin’s market supply. There are 912,137 ETH in the queue for withdrawal.

    According to Token Unlocks, $61.6 million is withdrawn from staking daily. The average purchase price of locked coins is $2,137.

    Lookonchain experts recorded that a whale with the address satofishi.eth withdrew 15,886 ETH (~$33 million) from staking and transferred 1,420 ETH (~$3 million) to the Binance crypto exchange. #eth
