Joey Krug, who resigned as co-chief investment officer at crypto venture capital firm Pantera in February, said Monday that he has joined Founders Fund as a partner.

"I'll be focused on defining Founders Fund's crypto strategy for the next decade, while looking for the next wave of crypto startups & founders to support," Krug wrote on Twitter.

San Francisco-based Founders Fund was founded in 2005 by a group of high-profile partners including billionaire entrepreneur Peter Thiel. The firm invests broadly across all stages and industries, and its portfolio companies include Lyft, Facebook, SpaceX and Stripe. (CoinDesk)
