Golden Finance reported that the generative AI company Distyl AI announced that it has formed a service alliance with OpenAI and completed a $7 million seed round of financing, led by hedge funds Coatue and Dell Technologies Capital, with participation from Nat Friedman (former GitHub CEO), Brad Gerstner (founder and CEO of Altimeter) and Dr. Jim Cash (professor at Harvard Business School). Distyl AI said it will use the new funds to promote the seamless integration of generative AI with workflows, and provide support for artificial intelligence research (such as GPT-4) and infrastructure (such as dedicated instances).
