Latin America is moving more and more money in cryptocurrency: outlook for 2027According to data published by Chainalysis in September 2026, Latin America recorded $593.8 billion in crypto activity, up 9.8% from the previous year, while activity worldwide declined by around 1.6%.
In fact, Brazil leads the region with $252.5 billion in cryptocurrency transactions and ranks first globally on the digital asset adoption index.
As for other countries in the region, Venezuela recorded an approximate 107.2% increase in crypto activity, followed by Mexico, which grew by 25.5%, while Argentina rose by 15.3%.

Regardless of the outcome, I’ll cherish everything wonderful this experience has meant and the affection of so many people who, in one way or another, made it possible for us to be here. Every vote, every message, and every post shared to reach more people has meant so much to me. 🫶🏼
