On-chain detective ZachXBT named a number of foreign KOLs. Under the recent trend of getting rich through airdrops driven by Arbitrum, multiple crypto KOLs touted Snark Launch, a currency listing platform based on zkSync, in the form of a common Twitter thread (Thread). After it was revealed that the so-called "Alpha Thread" was just paid to do things, KOLs deleted their posts one after another.
Alpha Thread no Alpha
The KOLs screenshotted by ZachXBT are as follows:
@0x366e: 42,000 followers
@cyrilXBT: 42,000 followers
@Mikee_93: 18,000 followers
@defi_mochi: 45,000 followers (former Delphi Digital intern)
@NDIDI_GRAM: 61k followers
@bloomstarbms: 64,000 followers
One of the worst trends this bear market has been the emergence of DeFi “Alpha” threadooor accounts
Recently it was discovered a couple of these accounts were shilling a sketchy launchpad undisclosed.
After being called out multiple of them deleted their tweets. pic.twitter.com/pcnRnkaF3H

ZachXBT pointed out that the project team will be rewarded with 3 whitelists and tokens worth $100. After the tweet string is published, it will also perform in the message box. Thank you KOL for sharing.
ZachXBT said:
Ask yourself, these new KOLs who love to write tweets, assuming that the so-called Alpha in their tweets can make money, why do most of them delete their tweets? If you continue to follow these people blindly, one day your entry position will become the liquidity for their exit.
Another analyst, zkSync Research, also believes that there are multiple danger signals in Snark Launch. These KOLs are supposed to be veterans in the encryption field. How could they not have discovered it? Warning signals include:
Increase followers through Twitter bot (27,000 followers in one week)
Bad audit (cost $500)
Poor project documents
Aggressive marketing tactics
However, zkSync Research specifically spoke to Defi_Mochi, who was named, and believed that he took responsibility for this, unlike other KOLs who pretended to be fine after deleting their posts.
Defi_Mochi also stated that it will return the sponsorship funds received to the users who lost money in proportion.
It is understood that Snark Launch was originally unwilling to return the over-raised funds from the token issuance, but officials later stated under pressure from the community that the over-raised ETH would be counted and expected to be returned to users on 4/16 and 4/17.
This article, Chain Detective ZachXBT, criticized Twitter’s “Alpha Thread” chaos, with many KOLs collecting money to do things. First appeared on Chain News ABMedia.
