Odaily Planet Daily News: According to a person familiar with the matter, Coinbase's head of markets, Vishal Gupta, will leave and devote himself to a new project. The specific content of the new project is still unclear, but Gupta will continue to stay in the crypto field. According to Gupta's LinkedIn profile, he has been at Coinbase for nearly three years and is responsible for the exchange's key products. He reports to Greg Tusar, who is responsible for overseeing Coinbase's institutional products. Prior to joining Coinbase, he was responsible for launching the stablecoin USDC at Circle. He also worked at Goldman Sachs for 8 years as vice president and head of U.S. listed options business. In addition to Gupta, Coinbase Chief Product Officer Surojit Chatterjee also resigned earlier this year. (Bloomberg)
