Chris Burniske, a respected crypto analyst, recently tweeted about Ethereum’s future, making a bold prediction that its price could reach $10,000 by 2025.

Although some might view it as an ambitious objective, the increasing popularity of cryptocurrencies and the significant challenges faced by traditional banking systems indicate that Chris Burniske's projection of ETH reaching $10k by 2025 may not be far-fetched. Moreover, the crypto market has previously experienced significant price surges.
Currently, Ethereum is the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, valued at around $215 billion, while Bitcoin's market value stands at $1.05 trillion.
Burniske's tweet serves as a response to critics who have consistently held a negative view on Ethereum, despite its price surging from $1 to nearly $2,000 within a few years.
Ethereum's upcoming Shanghai network upgrade is anticipated to have a favorable impact on the cryptocurrency. The upgrade is expected to draw more capital to staking, which will enhance the network's security.
The upgrade, slated for April 12, will enable network validators to withdraw funds that have been locked since December 2020. This will complete the network's transition to a proof-of-stake system, which began in September 2022 with the Merge.
At present, Ethereum is trading at $1,858 with a 24-hour trading volume of $6.5 billion, representing a 1.1% increase in the last 24 hours.
The immediate support level for Ethereum is currently at $1,850, and if the price closes above this level, it could see a bullish bounce-back and rise towards $1,920 or even $1,945. However, if the price drops below the $1,850 level, it could result in a decline towards $1,800 or the double-bottom support zone of $1,770.
