Russian law enforcement seeks to set up crypto wallets, has seized confiscated crypto assets

Russian investigators are pressuring Moscow’s parliament and government to allow the opening of its own cryptocurrency wallets. This would allow law enforcement agencies to seize digital assets in criminal cases and ultimately sell them for the benefit of the state.
