Rollup project Intmax has recently announced the collaboration with Scroll’s community-first zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) technology. Thanks to this partnership, the Scroll ecosystem will now be able to benefit from Intmax solutions.

Intmax is a stateless zkRollup project that aims to make Ethereum an easily accessible blockchain that can be used by billions. As a zero-knowledge rollup, it offers a hyper-scaling solution to make blockchain infrastructure more useful, all while protecting user data.

This solution allows for the separation of personal user data from the commonly shared data when submitting zk proof data for verification. What does this mean to the user? When the transaction data is sent to the layer one blockchain, for instance, Ethereum, the data is stripped to the minimum—the value of the transaction that needs to be put on the blockchain—and keeps all personal data out of it. Since validators don’t receive user data, Intmax users can stay anonymous.

Intmax aims to solve problems that are still plaguing Layer 2 solutions, including data availability efficiency, sequencer decentralization, interoperability, and privacy.

The company also announced it would be co-hosting a “zk Night” with the Scroll team. The event will take place just after ETH Tokyo on Monday, April 17, and it may be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about zero-knowledge solutions and what they have to offer.

Before that, on April 13, Intmax co-founder Leona Hioki will be speaking at the Web3 Hong Kong Festival about “Layer 2 & Ecosystem: Scaling Up Web 3.0.” The inaugural Web3 Festival is co-hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and HashKey Group and organized by W3ME, and it will take place on April 12-15 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
