SpaceX nearly tripled superintelligence compute capacity in just one year
The growth is absolutely staggering:
• September 2025: 600 MW
• June 2026: 1,400 MW
• September 2026: 1,700 MW
That’s an additional 1.1 GIGAWATTS of nameplate compute capacity in just 12 months
A massive 183% increase
SpaceX added another 300 MW in Q3 alone as it continued aggressive expansion of COLOSSUS II
And the expansion is FAR from over
Elon Musk has confirmed that Colossus II is targeting approximately 1.2 MILLION NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs by the end of this year
Colossus II is already the world's largest known SI data center by estimated computing power
And SpaceX is targeting an extraordinary 2.5–3 GIGAWATTS of installed SI compute power capacity by the end of this year
From 600 MW to potentially 3,000 MW in just 15 months
A fivefold increase
The speed and scale at which SpaceX is building superintelligence infrastructure is absolutely insane
