ETH is quietly holding the line while bigger players load up.

Watching ETH closely today (Nov 8, 2026). Price is sitting around $2,230–$2,235, basically flat after the recent volatility. It dipped hard earlier in the week but has stabilized right above the $2,200–$2,213 zone, which lines up with the realized price for accumulation addresses and the 200-day moving average nearby (~$2,155). RSI is hovering in the high 30s to low 40s not oversold, but weak enough that momentum is still soft. Volume is decent, and the chart looks like a classic range: support defended, resistance sitting at $2,250–$2,270 short-term, then $2,300 and the $2,400 area further up.

What’s interesting is the on-chain picture. Multiple reports show whales buying the dip one group of wallets pulled about 18,550 ETH (~$42M) over a few days, another bought ~13k ETH from Binance, a dormant wallet swapped ~$19.7M USDT into ETH, and Bitmine added another 5,000 ETH. That’s not retail noise. Institutions and large holders are treating this level as a floor. ETF flows have been choppy (some outflows earlier in the week), and the Glamsterdam upgrade delay adds a bit of near-term uncertainty, but the accumulation is hard to ignore. Sentiment has improved from fear into neutral territory.

Trade idea (not advice do your own research)

I’m looking at a cautious long setup here. Entry on a clean hold/bounce above $2,213–$2,220 with a tight stop just below $2,180–$2,200. First targets $2,270 then $2,300–$2,320. If it breaks and holds above $2,270 on volume, the path toward $2,400 opens up. Risk is a clean break below $2,200, which could see a quick test of $2,150 or lower. Position size small given the still-rangebound action and upgrade delay. Whales are buying I’m watching if price confirms that conviction.

Just my observation from the charts and flows. DYOR, manage risk. What are you seeing on ETH right now?
